My Hometown Salt Lake City is an initiative that combines the strengths of individuals, faith-based organizations, and community partners to help individuals and families in this community improve their residential living conditions, maintain access to available services and community information, connect productively with other neighbors, and serve together.
My Hometown Salt Lake City currently has volunteer organizations working in three communities in Salt Lake City. Each area organizes several days of service to complete neighborhood improvement projects and provides a community resource center to help the residents improve their skills.
We work to improve both public and private property in the community through our days of service projects. We also help community residents improve their skills through our no-cost resources and classes available at our community resource centers.
